Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE:   Lightweight, Pedal-Powered & Ready to Fish Anywhere

If you’ve been waiting for a compact pedal kayak that doesn’t feel “compromised”, the Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 LTE is it.
At just 10 ft long and only 29.5 kg hull weight, it’s easy to lift, car-top or slide into the back of a ute – yet on the water it feels like a “real” fishing platform: stable, fast and incredibly responsive.

Whether you’re sneaking up skinny creeks, launching off the bank after work, or travelling with a van or caravan, the Slayer 10 LTE gives you serious Native performance in a small, simple and ultra-portable package.

❓ 🎯 Who Is the Slayer Propel 10 LTE For

Choose the Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE if:

🔷 You want a pedal kayak that’s easy to handle solo – lifting, loading and launching by yourself.
🔷 You fish rivers, creeks, lakes and estuaries where agility and shallow-water access matter.
🔷 You prefer a clean, simple setup but still want premium Native components.
🔷 You may want to add a stern motor later, and want a hull already designed to support it.
🔷 You value Native build quality and warranty, but need something lighter and travel-friendly.

If you’re chasing a big, barge-like offshore platform, one of the larger Native models may be a better match —
but for everyday Aussie fishing missions, the Slayer Propel 10 LTE is a brilliant “take-it-anywhere” weapon.

⭐ Key Features at a Glance

  • Ultra-light 10 ft fishing platform – about 65 lb / 29.5 kg hull, easy to lift and car-top.

  • Proven Propel Pedal Drive System – instant forward & reverse for precise boat control.

  • New Springblade rudder system – excellent tracking with Native’s signature quick turning.

  • Motor-ready stern – reinforced mounting point plus wiring options for electric motors.

  • Easy electronics integration – built-in transducer pocket and dedicated wiring pass-throughs.

  • Perimeter groove track – full-length accessory tracks for rod holders, cameras and electronics.

  • First-class elevated seat – adjustable, supportive and high enough for all-day comfort.

  • Smart storage layout – big bow hatch, rear tank well and under-seat space for tackle or a small cooler.

  • Self-bailing deck with traction pads – quiet and grippy underfoot for confident standing.

  • Serious capacity – up to 193 kg / 425 lb total carrying capacity.

🚤 Compact Size, Serious Stability

The Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE hull has been re-worked to give you maximum stability in a 10 ft package. Sharp bow entry helps the kayak glide and stay quiet through chop, while the chines flare out to push water away from the cockpit for a drier ride.

Squarer, drawn-out chines under the standing area create a solid, confidence-inspiring platform – you can stand to cast, work lures and net fish without feeling twitchy. At the stern, a defined keel and the Springblade rudder combine for true tracking and tight turns, ideal for narrow rivers or tight structure.

⚙️ Propel Pedal Drive – Instant Forward & Reverse

At the heart of the Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE is Native’s legendary Propel pedal drive system:

  • Instant forward and reverse – just pedal in the direction you want to move.

  • Made in the USA with bomber construction and a 5-year pedal system warranty.

  • Smooth, efficient gearing that lets you cover water quickly with minimal effort.

Combined with the Springblade rudder, the drive makes this kayak feel lively and responsive. You’ll notice how quickly it accelerates compared to heavier boats – perfect for dashing between snags, chasing bust-ups or punching back to the ramp when the wind picks up.

🪑 First-Class Seat & Smart Cockpit Layout

The First-Class seat on the Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE is built for long days:

  • High seating position for better visibility and easier standing.

  • Fully adjustable backrest and fore-aft sliders to match your leg length and pedalling style.

  • Extra space under the seat for tackle trays, a jacket or lunch.

Around the cockpit you’ll find soft traction pads on the floor to keep things quiet and grippy, plus convenient side handles that double as structural groove track. Everything drains towards scuppers so water doesn’t sit where you stand or store gear.

🎣 Ready for Electronics, Motors & Custom Rigging

The Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE is designed to be upgradeable as your fishing evolves:

  • Built-in transducer pocket for your fish finder – no DIY brackets needed.

  • Wiring pass-throughs and a Powerlink plate so you can route cables cleanly without drilling.

  • Perimeter groove track along the bow, cockpit and stern for mounting rod holders, cameras, lighting and more.

  • Forward-facing rod holder beside the seat – perfect for changing lures or fighting a fish.

  • Two rear-facing rod holders in the tank well for storage and trolling.

  • Motor-ready stern with reinforced section and cable routing for electric motors or a shallow-water anchor.

You can keep it ultra-simple for creek hopping, or build it out with sounder, battery, lights and a stern motor as a compact, fully-rigged fishing machine.

📦 Storage for a Full Day on the Water

Despite its small footprint, the Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE carries gear like a much bigger kayak:

  • Large bow hatch with quality hinges and twist locks for dry bags or extra tackle.

  • Big rear tank well sized to fit a 16 x 16 BlackPak or crate, plus a battery or cooler.

  • Under-seat storage zone for tackle boxes or rain gear.

  • Cup holder storage and small pockets around the cockpit for pliers, tools and snacks.

With a maximum capacity of 193 kg, you can comfortably carry yourself, a full day of tackle, battery, fish finder and even a small motor without overloading the hull.

❓ FAQs – Native Slayer Propel 10 LTE

Is the Slayer Propel 10 LTE stable enough to stand and fish? +
Yes. For a 10 ft kayak, the LTE hull is surprisingly stable. The squared chines and wide 87.6 cm beam create a solid platform for standing to cast, work lures or net fish. It isn’t as barge-like as a big 13 ft boat, but for rivers, lakes and estuaries most paddlers will be comfortable standing with a bit of practice.
How heavy is it and can I load it by myself? +
The hull weighs about 29.5 kg without the seat and drive (around 38.5 kg fully fitted). Most people can manage solo loading by taking the drive and seat out first, then lifting one end onto roof racks or sliding it into the back of a ute. The moulded side and end handles make it much easier to move around on land.
What size motor can I run on the Slayer Propel 10 LTE? +
The stern is designed to accept a small electric motor or shallow-water anchor, mounted to the reinforced square section at the back. Most anglers use compact 12 V electric motors or dedicated kayak motors. As always, keep total weight (angler, gear, battery and motor) within the 193 kg capacity and follow the motor manufacturer’s recommendations.
Does it come wired for a fish finder and battery? +
The Slayer Propel 10 LTE includes a built-in transducer pocket and dedicated wiring pass-throughs, plus a Powerlink plate for running cables without drilling the hull. You still add your own battery and electronics, but the boat is set up to make installation neat, simple and watertight.
What warranty does Native provide on this kayak and the pedal drive? +
Native Watercraft offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the hull for the original owner, plus a 5-year warranty on the Propel pedal drive system. Other components have their own warranty periods. For full details or local support in Australia, feel free to contact us and we can help you with any warranty questions.
