– Noosa North Shore easy 2.6km one way (start point is finish point)

This is a picturesque paddle up the Noosa River from Gympie Terrace on the south side to the sandy shallows of the river mouth on the north side. Take into consideration that this paddle is more suitable for intermediate kayakers due to strong wind and tide influences (check tide times and wind direction before leaving) Not this can be a busy stretch for jet skis and watercraft. Expect to see sea eagles, pelicans and plenty of wildlife. It is recommended to not land on any of the sand islands so as not to impact on the resident birdlife. Camping is nearby at Munna Point.

The Boat House is the launching point and has kayak hire out front if you don’t have your own. There are toilet facilities, picnic and bbq areas and drinking water available. Parking can be a premium on weekends and holidays.
